I'm Danita a beautiful 35 year old woman with a secret.....I'm dyslexic. My whole life I tried to hide it but Dyslexic always reared it's ugly head. Dyslexia has made me feel stupid, embarrassed, frustrated and fearful I have decided to come out of the closet and face the fear. Yup I'm dyslexic and I have no shame. Now that I have confessed (I feel better) and I want to do what I do best empower others.
Professionally I work for a major non-profit and I love it. I am also a professional makeup artist and have been in the business for over ten years. I started this business to help women feel more confident and beautiful in everyday life. My makeup philosophy is clean, simple, gorgeous, makeup that enhances the everyday woman. I have helped hundreds feel confident and beautiful. In the past I have worked for great companies like Clinique and MAC. I have held many, many, many, jobs in my professional career but for the majority of my career I worked in sales and non-profit. Oddly enough writing is a part of my everyday task and I am constantly spell checking and making sure I don't have too many run on sentences. (Which I am sure all of the grammar folks out there will always find typos in my work.) Fortunately for me I have great friends that are excellent spellers so I will try my best to minimize mistakes.
I have decided that mistakes are good and I will not have fear concerning them. My goal for this blog is to bring light and love to those who are dyslexic. So this brings me to the best part of this post what does a Dyslexic blogger write about.....my top interest are makeup/makeup tutorials, beauty product reviews, inspirational messages, and love.
